Services & Clubs

Collie has a strong community focus, with many organisations working together to ensure residents enjoy an excellent quality of life.

Community services include Collie Community House (with SW Parenting Service, Collie Child Health Centre, Anglicare Financial Service), PCYC, Day Care Centre, Child Care Centre, Silver Chain Service, Home Support Service, Collie Shopper Bus, Riding for the Disabled, Cancer Support Group, Meals on Wheels, Red Cross, St Vincent de Paul and Anglican Thrift Shops.

Service Clubs are active in the community and have completed many large and small projects including assisting with the building of shelters along the Bibbulmun Track, a charity house, Christmas Pageant and much more. Rotary, Collie Lions, Collie - Wellington (ladies) Lions, Apex and RSL all welcome new members.

Social and Business Clubs include Senior Citizens Centre, Collie Chamber of Commerce & Industry, BPW, Collie Agricultural Society, Art Group, CWA, Collie Conservation Group, Collie Heritage Group, Collie Railway Station Group Inc, Italian Club, Red Hat Society, Probus Club, Veteran Car Club, Collie Ancestral Research Group and the Aero Club.

Religion

A wide variety of religious denominations are represented in Collie, including Anglican, Baptist, Church of Christ, Foursquare Gospel, Catholic, Uniting, Seventh Day Adventist and Jehovah’s Witness.
