Health Services

There are a range of health services available in the Collie, which consists of a public hospital (54 Bed), community health services, youth services, mental health services, eight general practitioners (including obstetrics and operating theatre), two dental services, a school dental therapy unit and access to the Royal Flying Doctor services.

Private physiotherapy, podiatry and chiropractic services are available in the town.

A new privately operated, 64 bed, aged care facility with secure dementia care wing is due to open in late 2008. This facility will be located adjacent to the Collie District Hospital.

There are also 12 hospitals located in the south west region offering a range of primary, specialist and aged care services and four in the immediate area of Collie, Harvey, Donnybrook and Bunbury where the major health campus is located.
